Hello there, my name is Jeanine and I'm so happy you've stopped by!

I have left my family, friends, my cat, Mr Pancks and the lovely Florida Gulf beaches
to follow God's call to serve as a missionary with
YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in England.

It's a little crazy to think I've been living and serving here for a whole year now! I am school leader for Discipleship Training School-where we train up young people in the awesome truth of who they are in Christ and how to share Him with everyone they encounter.

_______ . _______ . _______ . _______ ._______ . _______ . _______ . _______ . _______ .

A little randomness,
in no particular order, that I do so enjoy:

writing, writing, writing,
reading, reading, reading,
trekking through new places on foot,
worship jam nights with friends,
long conversations about interesting topics,
belly laughs,
strong milky coffee and equally, strong milky tea ;)
graphic design and fine art,
history and museums and just really old stuff,
costume drama movies,
 visiting used book stores,
learning about new cultures,
living cross-culturally,
learning (or at least attempting) to learn new languages
...and too many more things...
so I'll stop here.

Stick around and give me a shout out when you stop by.
I look forward very much to keeping in touch with you through the ole' bloggy!

Cheerio for now!

  1. Aww I love your about me page! You seem like such a fun and awesome person! I am so glad we found each other's blogs. Can't wait to read more :)

  2. Aw well thank youu, Lacey, you're so sweet :)) And I wish we could hang in 'real time' as well,I know we would get along smashingly!! Glad we found each other :)

  3. Is that a DSLR camera that you are holding in the top picture? I just purchased one on Amazon and enrolled myself in a class about photography for bloggers. It takes place today and it is 6 hours long. I am very excited about it. Since becoming such a serious blogger I want to be able to take my own fabulous pictures more often.

You seem like such a nice person and I cannot imagine you turning into a spinster, but I know what you mean. When you are a Christian and take it seriously there are a lot of "stuff" you won't tolerate, which excludes a lot of men from your dating pool. Even in church it is a challenge to find husband material. Trust that it will happen for you and it will.

Your About page is lovely and very refreshing.

    1. Yes, ma'am it is! :) Rebel XSI-quite lovely. How fun that you are taking a class!! Good for you girl. Such a fun hobby. I cannot wait to see some pics that you will have to without a doubt share with us all on your bloggy, please!

How true what you wrote about the "christian man-pool" haha love that! it is quite slim...but (and I'll always remember) what Amy March says in Little Women- we don't need scores of suitors, just the one, if he's the right one. So I keep that in mind. It will happen eventually, all in God's timing :) Thank you soo much for taking the time to share that. I can stand hearing the reminder-often. *hugs* /J

  4. Love you, Jeanine! Just read this page -you are so amazingly talented! I am excited for you about your continued missions work! When do you start? Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help! =) Miss you...xoxo

    1. Messaging you! :) I'm soooo happy you stopped by Shannon! :) xxoo
